Hi Hello Welcome. My name is Cameron. I am a human. That is my entire backstory.

Today I quickly try to go over the easiest way for you to get started organizing media within the Movies and TV Library types in Plex.

Collections are one of the only ways you get to exercise some control over how your media is displayed and I’m gonna try and explain some ways I use the two types of collections to section off parts of my media and let me navigate around easily to discover something to watch.

Next I’ll go over Playlists, their use cases, how they differ from Collections, and why I think of Playlists as TV Channels.
