I currently do all of my “writing” and “research” in Obsidian. Before I touched any editor I just sat down and kind of scraped out my brains about what I wanted in the game. The organization will come up as I go through the process. If I come across something I will probably want to reuse, I write it down. If I come across an obstacle, I write it down. If I find a solution, I’ll also write it down. I also show some old notebooks where I wrote pseudocode and lil room diagrams for a Legend of Grimrock 2 mod from, I don’t know, 2016 briefly.

The only goal for making videos is to catch up on the creative projects I had intended to tackle over the last few years that got diverted because my day job and personal life were exceedingly stressful. One of the things I’ve wanted to explore for a while has been Interactive Fiction and the wider genre of text/storybook style games.
